About Me
A little bit about me – I’m Louise, and I have worked in the party and entertainment industry for nearly 18 years now! It really is great fun – balloon modelling and face painting are activities that all children enjoy, and I love making the children smile. It’s also lovely to be part of a special celebration or event.
Until last year, I ran a party and balloon shop, helping people choose outfits, wigs and accessories for their fancy dress parties, and also providing a balloon decoration service for parties, weddings, christenings, fun days and corporate events.
As well as running my party and balloon shop, I also provided childrens’ entertainment and face painting for all types of events, which meant I was very busy and often had to turn down entertainment bookings in order to keep my shop open. However, I was very lucky to have my daughter to help me, by working in the shop, as well as with the balloon decoration service outside the shop. She is also an excellent balloon modeller.
Last year, I decided that I would welcome the chance to work more flexible hours, which would enable me to take more weekend bookings, so I decided to drop the fancy dress side of my business, which meant I no longer needed shop premises. This has allowed me to grow the entertainment side of my business, although I do still offer a balloon decoration service.
Now that my shop is closed, I am enjoying being out and about at various locations, where we have been booked to provide entertainment, face painting and balloons for events of all kinds.
In my spare time, I love walking (especially in Wales and the Lake District), cycling, reading and listening to music.
I often work with Joey the Juggler, who has also been in the entertainment industry for many years, although we can be booked separately if required. We also work with other balloon modellers and face painters – it depends on your requirements, size of the event, etc. Why not e-mail us with details of your event – we would love to hear from you!
